MORE THAN 830,000 WOMEN SUFFER FROM ENDOMETRIOSIS
We're excited to be working together with Endometriosis Australia to raise funds for research and awareness.
OUR FOUNDER & DIRECTOR, MEGAN HAND'S story...
Megan’s journey as an Aussie Battler started at the age of 14. Now 33, she has been battling Endometriosis for 19 years, but like so many other victims Megan only found out she was suffering from this hidden and debilitating disease during an operation in 2019.
Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to that in the lining of the womb, grows in other parts of the body. Not only is Megan’s Endometriosis wreaking havoc on her reproductive organs, but it has now spread to her stomach, bowel, colon, liver, bladder, the walls of her abdomen, diaphragm, the base of her lungs and has also been detected in the tear ducts of her eyes.
Megan believes her invisible illness and her hidden daily struggle with pain have made her stronger. She is a true Aussie Battler, a warrior who is strengthened by facing up to her challenges and she is driven to make a change and fight for awareness and a cure of Endometriosis.
On behalf of Aussie Battler and their official partner, Endometriosis Australia, thank you for your purchase of this T-shirt. 50% of the money raised will be donated to Endometriosis Australia and put towards awareness & research programs to help more Aussie Battlers!
